Jugger is our newest addition and we are beyond thrilled to bring him home. He was Double Bar D’s lead-out horned 2 year old bull and the powerhouse of the June-born group! He fit the bill exactly with lots of power and muscling while maintaining a nice clean head. This bull has never ceased to impress. He’s lost no conditioning and has a beautiful set of feet on him along with unlimited muscle. His calves have shown early growth and we are very excited to see what he produces in the future for us.

Rambler, another dark-red hairy bull was purchased from the Beechinor Brothers in 2020 when we were looking for a bull from a proven pedigree to help moderate some of our powerful Fleckvieh cows and bring down the birth weight. He comes from a pedigree that consistently demonstrate calving ease. The Black Gold Elevation sons, stemming from the South Seven Adonis line, are famous for this trait. Rambler’s EPDs are in the top 10% for calving ease and birth weight. He is a real looker with his wrap around goggles and consistently throws calves with a thick dark hair coat. His first calf crop was predominantly from second calvers and last year he cleaned up the cows with a history of heavy birthweight calves. His overall offspring average is 91 lbs.
Horned, non-diluter fullblood Fleckvieh.
Remedy was the high-selling bull in the Blushrose Simmental Bull Sale in 2020. He is a polled, dark red hairy beast. He moves like a cat and is an excellent breeder. He came to us very late in the season so we did not get to use him until he was 2 years old. Then he was introduced to the girls in a very icy season and hurt himself. Fortunately, we were able to draw some semen on him. We have used him lightly as we are just starting to work on the fullblood polled genetics, but last year his sons were among the first to sell.
Scurred, non-diluter fullblood Fleckvieh
Zeus is a moderate- framed, dark-red polled bull. He came to us as a 4 year old just in time to cleanup our fullblood AI herd. Unfortunately, 2021 was an icy breeding season that left us with a few injured herd bulls. His calves, averaging 94 lbs at birth are dark red, goggled and thick. With his calving ease, we will use him on second-calvers in the 2022 season.

Pemlock Mr. Rolls Royce 382J
Home raised and exceptional. This black 1/2 blood has had the herd sire look since he hit the ground. Out of a commercial cow and Skors High Roller SK 192G, a bull we lost too soon, we knew we had to keep this one and what a bull he’s turned out to be. We noticed his beautiful muscle shape at an early age and he has just continued to grow and impress. Beautiful clean head and shoulders on this guy and as well as a superb set of feet. There’s nothing about this bull that we don’t like. Rolls Royce is the name for him because he is power built right.
